Our Milestones in Product and Site Sustainability
In recent years, the employees at Lohmann have set significant milestones in regards to our product and site sustaniability. We have made considerable investments in sustainable innovations, such as developing award-winning solvent-free production capacities, introducing the bio-based and solvent-free adhesive tapes and collaborating with partners for fostering the sustainability of our production site and enabling circularity of our product waste.

Communication on Progress - United Nations Global Compact
Lohmann has reaffirmed its support for the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption with its sustainability report for fiscal year 2021. The well-being and, in particular, the safety of the more than 1,800 employees worldwide is a top priority at Lohmann. In 2022, we joined the United Nations Global Compact to formalize our commitment to its core values in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. This report, which is our first Communication on Progress, aims to reaffirm our commitment and describe our actions to integrate the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and day-to-day operations.

The Lohmann Group holds the silver sustainability certificate from EcoVadis
We have been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Seal for our global sustainability activities in the areas of ecology, social responsibility and economy. The certificate applies to all Lohmann sites worldwide and underscores our sustainability efforts. The sustainability experts from EcoVadis examined our activities in the areas of environment, labor and human rights (social), ethics and sustainable procurement on the basis of guidelines and certificates. Lohmann scored well, or advanced, in all areas. With the silver certificate, the third highest award within the rating, EcoVadis rated Lohmann's sustainability commitment as "structured" and "proactive".
